Can I change an order once it has been placed?

Sorry orders can not be changed, canceled or modified once it has been placed.

 

Pre-Orders

Because of the nature of Pre-Orders, most need to know information will be located in the product description. The date of ship will be included and because most pre-order items are handmade. Generally, once orders are received the order is sent to the manufacture and production begins. Pre-orders are subject to delays or availability. You as the customer will be notified of any changes and will be refunded if item fabric is out of stock. 

 

How soon will my order ship?

Once order is received, please allow up to 2-3 days for processing. Express orders are processed within one day. This does not include shipping time.

 

***please note: We are not responsible for orders lost in the mail, incorrectly supplied addresses, or unclaimed/refused packages. You can track your package using the supplied tracking number provided on email. Once items are shipped, Please follow up with shipping carrier for information on how to file a lost package claim.

 

Shipping time frames-

USPS Priority Mail (2-3 business days)
USPS Express mail (Guaranteed in 2 business days, 1 business day in most cases)

 

How do I return a defective item? 

Due to the nature of product availability. Exchanges are not guaranteed.

In the rare instance that an item is defective as all items are inspected by Basic Chic upon shipping. To be eligible for a return, your items must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Merchandise must be unworn and unwashed. We cannot accept returns of items that have been damaged, worn, or soiled, and clothing tags must still be intact.

- Merchandise must be returned within 7 days of receipt of delivery date.

Final sale goods are exempt from being returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate such as body suits, under garments and bathing suits.

Upon receipt and approval, you will receive a store credit for the purchase price of item and shipping cost associated with defective item.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a traceable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

To complete your return:

- Email Basic Chic Returns Dept at: Info@shopbasicchic.com with reason for return
- Please include a copy of  the invoice with return
- Choose a return method of your choice. I.E ( USPS, UPS, FED-EX). You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
- Merchandise securely packaged

 

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, on orders over $100.00

Offer valid for U.S. orders. Shipping and Handling do not count towards the qualifying amount. No price adjustments on previous purchases. Cannot be combined with any other deals. Qualifies for Standard ground shipping only.

 

Do you ship worldwide? Custom fees?

Yes, we do ship worldwide. Please keep in mind , A customs duty is a tariff or tax on the importation of goods. Custom goods can be held for clearance. WE do Not have any control over custom charges and/or fees or if any will be assessed. These fees are based on government regulations. If your package is being held by customs, that means you need to pay the custom fees in order to retrieve your package. If you don't, the package will be returned to Basic Chic at address on package.

 

How do I track my order?

You will receive a shipping confirmation email once order has processed and shipped. A tracking number will be provided

 

What if I do not receive my order?

Once items has been tracked via the tracking information provided and it states items delivered. Please contact the USPS at 1-800-275-8777 to open a claim. We are not responsible for items tracked as delivered but not received.

We ask that you take a minute to review order and check details of the order before submitting. Verify important information such as the items selected SIZE, COLOR, and QUANTITY.
